HC Orders No Financial Transactions Allowed on Hayagriva Lands

Visakhapatnam: The AP High Court on Wednesday heard a petition regarding the 12.51 acres of Hayagriva land allocated for orphans and elderly people in Yendada.

The High Court ordered that no financial transactions should be allowed regarding the Hayagriva lands until the government clarifies its position on the issue to the court.  

Jana Sena corporator Peethala Murthy Yadav and former TD MLA Palla Srinivas have filed a petition in the court following the allegations leveled on these land transactions. The court has directed the government to file its response within two months regarding the land transactions and on what basis they are taking place. The court asked the government to respond on the report given by the district collector regarding the cancellation of land allotment.
