Proud to be MLA under Jagan: Peddireddy
ANANTAPUR: Rayalaseema YSRC regional coordinator and minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy has said the state government fulfilled all promises without any break during all three and half years.
“We are proud to be MLAs under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy who has dedicated his life to the service of the people,” he said while inaugurating a park in memory of former MLA Y Bheem Reddy at Guntakal town. The minister also unveiled a statue of the former MLA.
Bheem Reddy was father of Guntakal MLA Venkatrami Reddy, Adoni MLA Saiprasad Reddy and MLC Shivarami Reddy. The park was set up on the main road at the Hanuman Circle area.
The minister hailed Bheem Reddy as a legislator and role model for the present and future generations. He recalled that at least five children of former Bheem Reddy were in politics and serving at various places in Anantapur and Kurnool districts.
“Even though the state’s financial condition is very bad and the state was badly hit during the two years of the Covid pandemic, not even a single welfare scheme was stopped and the beneficiaries are receiving money directly into their bank accounts, via DBT, as against the massive irregularities in fund dispersals during the TD term in the name of Janma Bhoomi committees,” he observed.
