THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader M.V. Jayarajan who took over as private secretary to chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday said his emphasis would be on helping the government in implementing LDF manifesto in its true letter and spirit. Jayarajan told DC that he would strive to make administration people friendly. “During his first address to the staff, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan had stated the expectations that the LDF government had from the staff. He had also laid down the do's and dont's for them. One can also see that as another manifesto for making administration pro poor and corruption free. I will work with the other staff of chief minister office to achieve these objectives,” he said.

The CPM leader from Kannur said that the emphasis would also be in providing a corruption free administration. “The office is a link between the chief minister and the people and we will rise up to the occasion to serve the masses,” he said. The appointment of Jayarajan who is CPM state committee member is aimed at streamlining the functioning of the chief minister’s office.
