ALAPPUZHA: The Kerala State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) on Monday urged to the Tamil Nadu rights panel to conduct a probe into missing case of a Assam Rifles Jawan. The order was passed by panel member P. Mohandas considering a complaint by K.M. Suseela, wife of the missing Jawan A. Suseelan.    A Suseelan, who belonged to Chengannur, went missing on board of Guwahati- Thiruvananthapuram Express on February 20, 2015 in between Gudalloor and Chennai.

He was on his way home from work place in Manipur. The complainant approached KSHRC  after the police failed to find any clue on the missing Jawan even a year after the incident.  According to the police, the case is still being looked into by Chennai Central Railway Protection Force. The panel also demanded an explanation from Chengannur Dy.SP on why the case remains unsettled even after a year.
