Kochi Metro, Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology ink deal for tech tie-up
The fist collaborated project has been titled Big Data Analytical framework for Seamless Transport System.
KOCHI: With an objective to promote technical and research collaboration, Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (moU) with Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. The MoU was signed on Thursday by Fr. Jose Alex, director of RSET, and Praveen Goyal, director (systems) of KMRL. The fist collaborated project has been titled “Big Data Analytical framework for Seamless Transport System.”
After signing the MoU, a presentation was made on “The Big Picture of Smart City and Transport Solutions” by Arun Kumar A.S., additional general manager (finance & IT), KMRL. KMRL aims to work with institutions like RSET to generate new and improved ideas and concepts for various projects, said an official. The event was attended by Dr. Unnikrishnan A, principal of RSET, Dr. Fr. Jaison Paul, Dr. John M George, vice principal, RSET, Hari G P additional general manager, Urban Transport, KMRL, Sangeeth Mohan, manager, IT, KMRL, Marion, overseas consultant from France, KMRL,Preetha Mathews, representative of Smart City and Arun and Sreejith Chandran, representatives of Infopark.
