Petition against T P Senkumar to be heard on November 10

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Inquiry Commissioner and Special Court (Vigilance) here has posted to November 10 a maintainability hearing on a petition against former state police chief T.P. Senkumar. According to sources, a petition in this regard was pending before the High Court. CPM local leader A.J. Sukarno had filed the petition seeking action against Mr Senkumar for allegedly fabricating medical certificates as well as irregularities during his term as Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation managing director. In may be recalled that the government on Thursday informed the High Court that there was no need for a probe into those allegations as the Vigilance had already conducted a probe and found them to be baseless.
