Court gives Mallanna permission for padayatra

Not more than 100 participants allowed to join the yatra, says Judge

Hyderabad: Justice B. Vijayasen Reddy the Telangana High Court on Wednesday permitted C. Naveen Kumar famously known as Teenmaar Mallanna to go ahead with his Padayatra from December 11.

The Judge allowed the yatra to go on with certain restrictions. The padayatra must pass through only on main roads and should not enter the agency area or through the forest.

The Judge further said that not more than 100 participants were allowed to join the yatra. The march will be in a peaceful manner and provocative speeches should be made by the petitioner.

Slogans are not allowed in the yatra and police are directed to take appropriate action in event of breakdown of any law and order.
