Mumbai: On International Women’s Day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had a special request for Prime Minister Narendra Modi – unfollow the Twitter users who abuse and troll women on the social media platform.
In a tweet, wishing everyone a happy women’s day, Kejriwal urged Modi to take strong action against the Twitter trolls as the world observes the day dedicated to women.
“Happy women's day to all. On this day, I urge Hon'ble PM to unfollow all those who abuse n threaten women n take strong action against them,” he tweeted.
His tweet to Modi attracted mixed reaction from Twitterati. While many tweeted in his support, there were others who suggested him to unfollow Somnath Bharti, against whom attempt to murder and domestic violence cases have been filed by his wife.
