TPCC Chief participates in Iftar party
HYDERABAD: Participating in an Iftar party held here on Friday, TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy said that Congress had implemented the Sachar Committee recommendations and provided four per cent reservations for Muslims in government jobs and educational institutions in the state.
The Congress had organised the Iftar at Quli Qutb Shahi grounds in the Old City. Speaking at the function, Revanth Reddy said that the MIM leaders were supporting the BRS by holding the car steering. “The MIM leaders spend their time in Delhi, neglecting the Old City,” Revanth Reddy said.
"When Congress was in power, we had given a number of beneficial schemes for the Muslims including four per cent reservations in jobs and education. We had given top priority to the minorities by providing funds from the government," Revanth Reddy said.
