Reporting date for second phase MBBS admissions extended

Warangal: The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) on Thursday extended the date of reporting to medical college up to 5 pm of September 9 for the second phase of web counseling for admission into MBBS courses.

The second phase was completed along with allotment of seats into various colleges and also the time to take admissions into the college by September 7. Due to various reasons some students did not take admissions into the colleges.

In view of that, the parents of the students urged health minister T. Harish Rao to extend the date of the second phase of counseling keeping in view of the future of merit students and also to give them a chance to attend for the third phase of counselling for admissions into MBBS courses.

Responding positively to their request, Harish Rao assured them of a chance along with upgradation of students who joined in the second phase as also issued orders to the vice-chancellor to extend the date of reporting into colleges.

The minister also provided an opportunity to the students to participate in the third phase of web counseling for admissions into various MBBS courses.

Officials of the university appealed to students to report to the medical colleges that were allotted by September 9 Friday evening 5 pm with their original certificates.
