Nalgonda: Nalgonda city police objected to the shooting of a film on gangster Nayeem as the film crew did not have permission to shoot. The film crew stopped the shoot after the police intervened saying that they will approach the authorities for permission, and will continue the shoot after obtaining consent.

After the encounter death of gangster Nayeem a few months back, several filmmakers, including controversial director Ram Gopal Varma, wanted to make a film on him. But a source said that P. Bharath is already making a film, and the shooting was going on near Nalgonda without any buzz.

Though the director refused to give details about the actor representing Nayeem, DC got a few pictures of the Nayeem lookalike actor. Senior actor Banerjee is also playing an important role in the film. “Even Ram Gopal Varma was too surprised to see the lookalike of Nayeem and he enquired about the person's details,” a source said.

RGV had announced on Twitter that he wants to make a film on Nayeem after the encounter. Actually, RGV wanted to make the film in three parts as the subject had lots of material.

“Nayeemuddin’s story is complex, and with so much content it's impossible to do justice by telling it through a single feature film. I am going to make a three-part film on Nayeem. Rakthacharithra had only two parts. The Nayeem film will have three parts,” RGV had tweeted after the encounter death of the real Nayeem.

Now, Parepalli Bharat, a low-key director is making the film on Nayeem. Bharat had earlier made the action film Maisamma IPS produced by Dasari Narayana Rao.
