Hyderabad: Woman, son die of electric shock
According to the police, Shabbir Ali along with his wife and two sons were residing in Sikanderwada in Kohir town in Sangareddy district.

According to the police, Shabbir Ali along with his wife and two sons were residing in Sikanderwada in Kohir town in Sangareddy district. On sunday morning at around 5.45, Zabreesa Begum woke up to offer Fazar prayers and after washing her face, she went to the verandah to collect a towel which was put out for drying on a GI wire which was tied from the house to a shed in their house. As soon as she pulled the towel, she received a shock and began shaking and screaming loudly.
Shakeer immediately switched off the power supply and rushed to rescue his mother, but he also got electrocuted and both of them died on the spot.
Kohir subinspector Ramu said a live wire had snapped and fallen on the shed due to the heavy rains the previous night.
