Visakhapatnam: Fresh trial in tonsure case begins

Visakhapatnam: Hearing of the tonsure case in Venkatayapalem in East Godavari resumed at a special court that is designated to hear cases of atrocities against SC and ST communities, in the district court complex here on Monday.
Justice K.V. Nageswara Rao examined the first victim, Koti Chinna Raju.

Main accused and Ramachandrapuram MLA Thota Trimurtulu and the other accused were present in the court.

The special court has given a schedule from May 8 to May 12, and both the victims of alleged forcible tonsure, Koti Chinnaraju and Dadala Venkataratnam, will be examined by special public prosecutor Y. Sujatha and cross-examined by the defence lawyer K.V. Rammurthy.
