First Sabka Saath' meet at Thodupuzha

Thiruvananthapuram: The first ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ sammelan, a national campaign marking the third anniversary of the NDA government, will be held in Thodupuzha, Idukki, on Tuesday. It aims at creating awareness on government schemes that impacted lives and highlighting the inclusive growth. The venue will be Uthram Residency, near Mangattukavala. Pon Radhakrishnan, Union minister of state for road transport, highways and shipping will be the chief guest at the public meeting to be held at 2 pm. Joyce George MP will preside over the meeting where Kozhimala Raja will be the guest of honour.

Two corporate social responsibility projects of Cochin Shipyard, tribal girl students' hostel at Saraswathy Vidyanikethan, Kudayathoor, and handing over the key of a special school bus to Deena Daya Seva Trust, Kolani, will also be held. Apart from this, there will be a beneficiary meeting of Union Bank of India, the lead district bank, and HUDCO. Chenda melam by percussion exponent Peruvanam Kuttan Marar will be another attraction.
