Vigilance special court order on T P Senkumar on September 14

The Vigilance legal wing informed the court that the allegations were earlier looked into and there was no prima faice material for a probe.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance special court here on Friday posted to September 14 for orders on  a petition filed against former state police chief T. P. Senkumar. A private petition alleging irregularities by Mr Senkumar during his earlier stints as KSRTC and KTDFC managing director was filed before the court earlier. The Vigilance legal wing informed the court that the allegations were earlier looked into and there was no prima faice material for a probe.

Meanwhile, a petition against former Chief Secretary Nalini Netto for allegedly manipulating a file related to the Puttingal fire work mishap was posted for hearing on September 14 by a local court here. It was alleged that the manipulations were made as part of a ploy to remove Senkumar from the State Police Chief post soon after the LDF government came to power.
