Congress' Sujatha accuses Adilabad MLA of spreading rumours against her

ADILABAD: TPCC general secretary Gandrath Sujatha on Friday alleged that henchmen of Adilabad BRS MLA Jogu Ramanna are spreading rumours against her since they could not digest a woman emerging as a strong leader in Adilabad, who is also strengthening the Congress party.

Sujatha said as the MLA and his supporters have no guts to face her, they are spreading rumours against her. “Let them present proof for these rumours,” she challenged.

The Congress leader advised people to elect leaders based on their commitment to people’s welfare and not self-serving leaders.

Sujatha took oath in the name of God at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Adilabad town, vowing that she will fight against the false information being spread against her when the election is fast approaching.

She warned that she will slap leaders who are spreading rumours against her with slippers if they fail to mend their ways.

Adilabad market committee former chairman Sanjeev Reddy was present.
