Mock Poll to be Held on 9, 10: DRO

Kurnool: District revenue officer K. Madhusudan Rao said that a mock poll will be conducted at the collectorate on November 9 and 10. The programme will take place from 9 am to 8 pm.

The DRO informed political party representatives on Wednesday that they need to submit a list of booth-level agents for photo identity cards. The next special voter registration campaign is scheduled for December 2 and 3, and political party representatives are expected to provide full support for this programme.

The DRO has also stated that any objections or claims should be submitted in the prescribed formats to the respective AERO/ERO/BLO by December 9.

During the meeting, political party representatives requested the DRO to provide regular updates on the status of pending Forms 6, 7, and 8. Some participants raised concerns about certain BLOs in Krishnagiri mandal not reporting to duty regularly, to which the DRO said that written complaints would be necessary to take any action.
