Look at the arrogance of power - he's making police security staff wear his shoes.
His duty is to uplift the deprived, but instead, he's exploiting them even more. This is truly shameful.@INCIndia… pic.twitter.com/j2xP2Xxpn6
Mahadevappa's visit to a hostel in Saptapur aimed at assessing its amenities. Upon entering the kitchen, he opted to remove his shoes. As he prepared to depart, his staff extended a helping hand to ensure he put them back on.
The video of this moment quickly circulated on various social media channels.
Speaking with reporters later, Mahadevappa clarified that he sought help due to health concerns.
He explained that during the Nanjangud by-election, he experienced health issues stemming from synovial fluid flow to hip joint, resulting in pain and inability to bend.
"I opted for assistance from my staff solely for health reasons and not out of arrogance," he emphasized.
