Kamareddy: Farmer injured in leopard attack

NIZAMABAD: A leopard attacked on farmer at Barangedgi village in Birkur mandal of Kamareddy district on Friday. The incident occurred when the victim Vadla Vijay Kumar was working in his agriculture field on the banks of River Manjeera.

Following the attack of the animal, the farmer shouted for help. This drew the attention of farmers working nearby who rushed to the spot, chased away the leopard and rescued Kumar. He was shifted to the government area hospital in Banswada with bleeding injuries. Forest and police officials have been informed of the incident.
