PM Modi Says Women One Caste, Warns Against Attempts to Create Rift

NEW DELHI:Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a virtual interaction with women beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), emphasised on unity among women, cautioning them against "divisive politics" that aimed to create rifts among them. He stated that women form a powerful collective, transcending any divisions, and can face challenges together.

“All women should remain together. Nowadays, some people are creating rift among women... All women have one caste which is so big that they can together take on any challenge,” he said. The Prime Minister warned women to be wary of attempts to sow discord among them through divisive political strategies.

Reflecting on the outcome of the recent Assembly polls, Modi asserted that results affirmed the credibility of ‘Modi's Guarantee.’ He highlighted the importance of winning people's hearts over social media and expressed gratitude to the voters who trusted his guarantees. Modi emphasised that the BJP government was dedicated to serving the people, considering every individual, especially the poor, as a VIP.

Addressing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra's objective, Modi discussed the government's efforts to ensure timely and widespread implementation of flagship schemes. He underscored the impact of these initiatives, including enrolling of new beneficiaries for the Ujjwala scheme, instant distribution of Ayushman Bharath health insurance cards, health check-ups, and the participation of women in development programmes.

Emphasising women-led development, Modi said women constituted 70 per cent of the beneficiaries of the PM Awas Scheme and they were also the majority Mudra beneficiaries. He mentioned initiatives like 'Lakhpati Didis' through skill development and 'Namo Drone Didi Abhiyan.'

The Prime Minister pointed out that numerous rural families had benefited from government schemes without the need for repeated visits to government offices. He emphasised the government's commitment to identifying and reaching out to beneficiaries, earning the trust reflected in the term "Modi's Guarantee."
