Hyderabad: A division bench of the Telangana High Court, headed by Chief Justice Alok Aradhe, on Wednesday directed the state government to conclude the enquiry against Boinapally Manohar Rao, the suspended MD of tourism department within three weeks. Rao was suspended under instructions from the Election Commission of India (ECI) as he had violated the model code of conduct that was in place when the official accompanied minister V. Srinivas Goud to Tirupati.

As the government was extending his suspension on the pretext of incomplete inquiry, Rao approached the High Court.
