Gorantla getting ready for poll contest
Kakinada: Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary of the Telugu Desam has said he would contest the elections on TD ticket.
Chowdary told the media in Rajamahendravaram on Tuesday that he is getting ready for either Rajamahendravaram Urban or Rajamahendravaram Rural assembly segment. If the high command sends him to any constituency, he’s game too.
He lashed out at Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and said “Jagan started his rule of destruction by packing up Praja Vedika. “Farmers are facing difficulties as they are not getting good prices to their crops and tenant farmers are not able to pay their lease amounts to the land owners.”
He said that during the Telugu Desam rule, Chandrababu Naidu brought industries to the state whereas Jagan brought ganja. “No industry came forward to set up their units in AP in the last five years for fear of violence unleashed by agents of the YSRC leaders.”
“Jagan Mohan Reddy failed to issue the Job Calendar on the first day of every January. The prices of essential commodities are going up, power charges have been hiked abnormally, and the ordinary people in AP are suffering as a result of all these.”
The people have already decided to unseat Jagan from the CM chair, he said.
TD district secretaries Prathipati Ramarao Chowdary, Pinninti Ekababu, Pinninti Ravi Sankar and others were present at the press conference.
