Subair, Shamsudeen on a hissing mission to UAE

It was during such an expedition to U.A.E that the invitation to study the venomous snakes of the land was extended to Dr. Subair.

Kozhikode: Accepting an invitation from a member of the royal family of Abu Dhabi, researcher Dr Subair Medammal, and snake catcher Shamsudeen Cherpulassery will travel to U.A.E on Friday to study venomous desert snakes, a press release said.

Mr. Shamsudeen has been involved in snake catching for over three decades. Dr. Subair, an assistant professor at the Calicut University Zoology department and a leading researcher, has  exposure to the study of falcons of Arabian deserts, earlier.

It was during such an expedition to U.A.E that the invitation to study the venomous snakes of the land was extended to Dr. Subair.
