Ex-speaker TS John passes away at 76
He died at a private hospital in Cherthala.

ALAPPUZHA: Former Kerala Assembly Speaker and minister T.S. John, 76, died here on Thursday. He was one of the founding members of the Kerala Congress and was undergoing treatment for age-related illnesses. He died at a private hospital in Cherthala.
John, who was active in politics till very recently leading the Kerala Congress (Secular) as its chairman, was diagnosed with cancer. He served as the minister for food and civil supplies in the governments headed by A.K. Antony and P.K. Vasudevan Nair.
