Love Jihad in state real, says T P Senkumar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former state police chief T.P. Senkumar has reiterated that that Love Jihad functional in the state. Speaking at a private function here on Sunday, Mr Senkumar said that the functioning of Love Jihads was confirmed following investigations on the basis of a directive from the HC. “I am making all statements based on facts,” he said.

Mr Senkumar’s revelations came as a sequel to references in a recent interview to a magazine on Muslim conversions in the state. He said that conversion to Muslim religion was much higher than compared to Christians. He added that Muslims should curb wrong preaching to attract youths to jihads. "I am noting making any anti-Mulsim statements. It was based on facts I said that the Muslim population in the state is increasing. I stick to my earlier stand that RSS and IS are different outfits," he had said.
