Cancellation of SCR trains due to safety works

Visakhapatnam: To facilitate the completion of essential safety works in the Vijayawada division, the South Central Railway on Saturday said it temporarily cancelled several services, as follows:

Sept. 11 to 17: Trains 07466 and 07467 (between Rajahmundry and Visakhapatnam); Trains 17239 and 17240 Simhadri Express on the Guntur, Visakhapatnam route;

Sept. 11 to Sept. 16: Trains 22701 and 22702 Uday Express between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada.

SCR also said it would halt the Howrah-Puducherry Superfast Express at Tiruvannamalai on an experimental basis for two minutes from September 20. The schedule is as follows: Train 12867 — arrival 5.13 am, departure 5.15 am; Train 12868 Puducherry-Howrah Superfast — arrival at 3.56 pm and departure at 3.58 pm.
