Hassan: Devotees, who miss the Mahamastakabhisheka  of the world’s largest monolithic statue of Bahubali at the Jain pilgrimage centre of Shravanabelagola in Hassan between February 17 and 25, don't need to despair as they will be able to see it replicated every Sunday at the spot till August 2018.

Those who miss the event, will have another chance to catch the spectacle every Sunday thereafter, according to  Mr Ashok Kumar, a senior journalist attached to the Shravanabelagola Jain Mutt. Preparations are for the ceremony with the  PWD beginning to install a scaffolding near the statue for the  head anointing ceremony. It hopes to have  it  ready by December.
