8-year-old Boy Dies in School Wall Collapse

Visakhapatnam: An 8-year-old school student died after a wall collapsed at MPP school in Payakaraopeta on Monday.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Tulasi Siddhu Prasanna. The incident occurred when a wall collapsed during construction work for new bathrooms at the rear of the school.

Police said that to ensure the structural stability, a support pole had been installed at the construction site. However, the incident occurred when Siddhu, who was playing nearby, accidentally pulled on the support pole, causing it to fall and strike him on the head. Despite immediate efforts to rush Siddhu to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on the way. Police registered a case and began an investigation.
