Kishan to flag off three extended trains from Guntur today

Vijayawada: Union tourism minister G. Kishan Reddy will flag off on Friday three trains from Guntur railway station in Andhra Pradesh, whose destinations have been extended.

Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada Uday Express has been extended up to Guntur, Vijayawada – Hubballi Amaravati Express up to Narsapur; and Nandyal – Kadapa Express Special has been extended up to Renigunta.

Railway officials said these three pairs of train services of Andhra Pradesh region have been extended for convenience of the people. Guntur divisional railway manager M. Ramakrishnan and other railway officials will be present when Kishan Reddy flags off the three trains.

The extensions will come into effect from Saturday.

Passengers from Narsapur and Bhimavaram will have a direct and convenient night travel facility to travel up to Guntakal, Bellary and Hubbali. Similarly, people of Nandyal, Kadapa and surrounding areas will have a convenient passenger train up to Renigunta for reaching Tirupati and Tirumala.

Visakhapatnam – Guntur Uday Double-Decker Express will have AC, and non-AC reserved sitting accommodation. Narsapur – Hubbali Express train will have reserved coaches for both AC and Non AC classes, apart from second general class coaches. Nandyal – Renigunta Passenger will have unreserved coaches catering to small businessmen, students, vendors and families.
