AP government employees submit revised agitation schedule

Vijayawada: The leaders of AP JAC Amaravati met Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy in his chamber on Friday and submitted a revised agitation schedule of the AP Government Employees, who are seeking acceptance of their demands.

AP JAC Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, general secretary Palisetti Damodara Rao and other leaders said that, as per the new revised schedule, the employees would wear black badges from March 9 till April 5.

On March 17 and 20 (two days), the employee leaders will visit government offices and seek support for the agitation.

From March 21, all employees across the state will follow Work to Rule. On March 27, they will visit the homes of the families who did not get compassionate appointments.

The leaders deplored that the government has not responded on issues like arrears that are due to the employees, leave encashment, medical reimbursement bills, DA arrears, new DAs etc as well as cancellation of CPS, regularisation of contract employees, salary revision of outsourcing employees and other non-financial aspects.
