HYDERABAD: A 34-year-old father Siddam Swamy's desire to get admission for his son in a corporate school was shattered after the 13-month-old boy, Aayunsh, was crushed to death under the wheels of a four-wheeler (TS 17 T 5136) at his residence in Isrojiwadi village of Kamareddy on Monday.

Swamy is a driver. Sunday night, his brother Sailu was reversing Swamy’s car near their house when suddenly the boy came from behind and was crushed under the wheels.

The boy was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

"We did not notice my son creeping on the floor. Within minutes, we lost our child," Swami said.

Swami lodged a complaint with Devanpalli police, who registered a rash driving case against Sailu and took him into custody.

Police said the vehicle had two pending traffic challans in Hyderabad and another two from Kamareddy for rash and negligent driving.
