Hyderabad: The nexus between the BRS and the Congress in Telangana state was exposed in the Cantonment Board meeting on Wednesday, claimed J. Ramakrishna former vice president and current member of the SCB.  However, TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy produced a memo issued by the Telangana state government vide Memo No. 64635 dated April 28.

According to the SCB member, a building application was moved by the Congress for the construction of the party office.

However, objections were raised during the application process. He mentioned that the land allotment had lapsed and the no objection certificate (NoC) of the district collector was not furnished, hence the said issue was referred to the district collector for seeking the factual status of the allotment.

Ramakrishna said that the district collector vide a letter dated November 12, 2022, clearly mentioned that the said building application cannot be processed as the state government had its interest and some legal cases were also pending against the land.

"To our utter surprise the Telangana state government issuing a Memo after the district administration raising specific objections, clearly proves the nexus between the BRS and Congress parties," he added.
