Srisailam Maha Kumbhabhishekam to begin from May 25

Kurnool: Srisailam Temple is organising Maha Kumbhabhishekam from May 25 to May 31. In this context, temple officials inspected the Yagashala, Ganesha Sadanam, pilgrim amenities and the queue lines.

Arrangements are being made to ensure that there is no inconvenience caused to devotees in queue lines, as there may be scorching heat during the period. Accordingly, arrangements will be made for supplying drinking water, snacks and biscuits in the queue complex.

Trust Board chairman R. Chakrapani Reddy directed that all necessary arrangements for Mahakumbhabhishekam should be completed at the earliest.

The Ganesh Sadanam has four blocks with total 224 rooms, with 36 rooms in Block-A, 64 in Block-B, 48 rooms in Block-C and 64 in Block-D.

Deputy Chief Minister Kottu Satyanarayana, Srisailam MLA Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy, endowments commissioner S. Satyanarayana, trust board chairman Chakrapani Reddy and executive officer S. Lavanna have invited Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for the Mahakumbhabhishekam.
