Higher medians on city roads of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The median at Road No. 3,  Banjara Hills, where a ghastly accident claimed the lives of P. Ramya two other members of her family last month. is being raised by GHMC following the advice of the traffic police. All medians will be raised to avoid similar accidents.

A traffic police officer said they had suggested a few junctions where the medians have to be raised. He said that new roads had been raised at many places, effectively reducing the height of the medians.
