Will Rajinikanth be Clean Pondy' envoy?
According to Ms Bedi, Rajinikanth is the right person to send the right message to the people and to make Puducherry healthy.
Puducherry: Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi invited film actor Rajinikanth to endorse “Clean Puducherry”, aimed at making the Union Territory first “open-defecation free” state in the country. The actor’s wife Latha Rajinikanth called on Kiran Bedi at her office.
Ms Bedi tweeted photos of the meeting terming it an “inspirational meeting”.
Ms Bedi, who coined the term “Prosperous Puducherry”, wants to ensure
the Union Territory is filth and garbage free. She plans to launch “Clean Puducherry” mission on October 2, 2016.
According to Ms Bedi, Rajinikanth is the right person to send the right message to the people and to make Puducherry healthy. Rajinikanth or his family is yet to make public about taking up the offer and the purpose of the meeting of Latha Rajinikanth could be related to Governor Bedi’s appeal to the Kabali actor.
