SC judge offers prayers at Srisailam
SC Judge Justice Prashanth Kumar and his wife arrived in temple town of Srisailam on Saturday evening, stayed at Nandini Kethan guest house
Kurnool: Supreme Court judge Justice Prashanth Kumar Mishra, accompanied by his family, embarked on a two-day tour, during which they offered prayers at the Srisailam temple on Sunday in Nandyal district. The judge and his wife arrived in the temple town of Srisailam on Saturday evening and stayed at the Nandini Kethan guest house.
On Sunday morning, they participated in special rituals at both the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Sri Bhramaramba Devi temples. Several people, including Andhra Pradesh High Court judge A.V. Sesha Sai, district principal judge N. Sreenivasa Rao, Srisailam Devasthanam executive officer S. Lavanna, and Nandyal district revenue officer B. Pullaiah, welcomed the Supreme Court judge and organised the temple honours.
During their visit, Justice Prashanth Kumar Mishra and his wife took part in various ceremonies, including Maha Mangalaharathi, Ratnagarbha Ganapathi Puja, Suprabhata Seva, and Mahanyasa Purvaka Rudrabhishekam at the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in the morning. They also participated in special rituals at the Bhramaramba Ammavari temple, such as Kumkumaarchana and Asheervachanam, conducted by Veda pandits.
