Case registered on missing files of Lake Palace Resort Complex

The missing of files of the resort from the municipality came to the lime light on August 16.

ALAPPUZHA: The Alappuzha South Police has registered a case in connection with the missing of files related to the construction of buildings in the Lake palace Resort complex owned by transport minister Thomas Chandy. South police circle inspector K.N. Rajesh said that the case was registered on the basis of the complaint of Alappuzha municipal chairman Thomas Joseph. In the complaint, the chairman said that four files relating to Lake Palace resort went missing from the municipality. 

“A case has been registered under section 380(theft) of Indian Penal Cord (IPC). South police sub –inspector has been entrusted to look into the matter”, he said. The missing of files of the resort from the municipality came to the lime light on August 16. Later, one file was traced in a cupboard of the engineering wing of the municipality. In those files, the documents of 18 buildings found. The files related to the construction of another 16 building are now missing.
