Lovelorn youngster dies by suicide

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old K. Praveen Kumar died by suicide in his room at Saroornagar here on Sunday. Police recovered a note, purportedly written by Praveen and a selfie video on his mobile phone.

According to the police, the letter and the video mentioned that he loved a girl, who was his junior in D. Ed. For the past few months, she was avoiding him and got acquainted with another boy.

He shared the video with his friends and family members, who rushed to his room and found him dead.

Saroornagar sub-inspector P. Madhava Rao said a case has been registered on a complaint by his family members. Further investigation is on, he said.
