Hyderabad: The last date for submission of application forms for the Haj has been extended to March 20, the Telangana Haj Committee (THC) said.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, an official said the Haj Committee of India had extended the date based on a request by the THC.

“The passports of more than 200 Haj aspirants are not updated due to technical issues,” he said.

According to the circular from the Haj Committee of India issued on Friday, the last date for submission of the Haj application form along with requisite documents has been extended to March 20.

Applicants having a machine-readable Indian passport issued before March 20, 2023, and valid up to February 2, 2024, would be eligible to apply.
