KC(M) proved its strength by standing alone: K M Mani

Kottayam: The Kerala Congress had previously proved its strength by standing alone without aligning with any political fronts in the state, said KC (M) chief K.M. Mani. Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said the party had decided to go it alone for the time being, though other fronts were welcoming it.
His response came in the wake of party legislator Mons Joseph maintaining that only the politics of alliance had relevance in the state, which was later backed by P.J. Joseph. Responding to the comments of Mr Mons Joseph that the party will not go to NDA, Mr Mani said that was the party's stand.
However, he refused to deny the relevance of coalition politics. Mr Mons told reporters previously at Kaduthuruthy that only coalitions had survived in the state, and the party will take an appropriate decision after holding discussions.
