Kottayam: Kerala Congress (M) chairman K.M. Mani on Monday said that the students had to bear the burden of additional fees in the self-financing medical colleges because the state government had failed to present the case properly in the Supreme Court. Mr. Mani also rejected the claim that the induction of Mr Alphons Kannanthanam in the Union ministry will benefit the BJP.
“Can the party capture the entire seats in the country if one person is made a minister,” he asked replying to reporters’ queries whether the BJP will gain Christian votes in the region with Mr Kannanthanam’s ministership.
