Telugu Diaspora in USA Eager to Support BJP's Bid for Power in Telangana: Bandi

HYDERABAD: BJP’s national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday said people from Telangana state who settled in the USA are looking forward to the BJP coming to power in the state and are also willing to come back home to campaign for the party.

Speaking to media at the RGI Airport at Shamshabad upon his return from a visit to the USA where he met with NRIs from Telangana state in different cities, Sanjay Kumar said, “Typically we see Hyderabad nearly getting emptied when festivals such as Sankranti, Dasara, Diwali come. In the same manner, Telugus in the USA assured they will come to Telangana state to campaign for the BJP.”

He said, “Telugus in the US are convinced that only a double engine sarkar led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, and the BJP government in the state will ensure Telangana state’s all-round development and proper implementation of welfare programmes.”
