Indian Navy Day Celebrations: Band to Perform for Hyderabad

Hyderabad: As part of the Navy Day celebrations, a 36-men strong band from the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam will perform at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue on NTR Marg from 6 pm on December 14.

Navy Day is observed annually on December 4 to honour Naval personnel’s valour and pivotal contributions during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. The one-hour concert would blend of Western and Telugu melodies. The event is open to the public and free of charge. Vehicle parking has been arranged on the HMDA ground, adjacent to the Dr Ambedkar statue memorial park.
