Man dies of illness, his wife ends life

Visakhapatnam: A-70-year-old man and his wife died within a span of an hour in Uppavaram village, located in the Achyutapuram mandal of Anakapalli district on Monday.

Gangireddy Satyanarayana, 70, died due to an illness. Unable to bear the loss of her husband, Gangireddy Satyavathi, Satyanarayana’s wife, died by suicide.

Neighbours gathered in large numbers to organise a joint funeral for the departed couple.
