Visakhapatnam: Jalagam Kumar Swamy, a prominent figure in the Bharat Kisan Sangh, urged a crowd at the Cow-Based Nature Farmers Association office in Shivaji Palem to embrace nature-based agriculture for better health and environmental sustainability.

Swamy emphasised the merits of organic farming and the numerous advantages of cultivating crops that align with nature. To further this cause, a health walk is set to commence at 6:30 am on Tuesday, starting from RK Beach and culminating at the YMCA.

Expanding on the initiative, Swamy unveiled plans for an upcoming organic mela, scheduled to run from the 14th to the 17th of this month. The sprawling grounds of Maddilapalem Engineering College at Andhra University are earmarked as the venue for this celebration of nature-centric agriculture.
