Visakhapatnam: State Women's Commission member Uma Geddam visited King George Hospital (KGH) to offer support to a recent acid attack victim. The victim, a lone woman from Chintagatla panchayat, allegedly suffered the attack at the hands of TD panchayat president Narisingarao.

Geddam expressed her strong support for the victim and demanded swift action against the perpetrator. "The attacker will be brought to justice, regardless of any affiliations," she asserted. She urged police to thoroughly investigate the incident, recover the stolen valuables, and ensure the accused faces the full consequences of his actions.
