Four engineering students of Audisankara college selected for fellowship

They will work with students from other universities, faculty and administrators to create new learning opportunities.

Four engineering students of Audisankara college of engineering and technology, Gudur have been selected for the University Innovation Fellows program at Stanford University.

Nellore: Four engineering students of Audisankara college of engineering and technology, Gudur have been selected for the University Innovation Fellows program at Stanford University, where they will work with students from other universities, faculty and administrators to create new learning opportunities.
University Innovation Fellows (UIF) program is initiated by Stanford University’s Hasso Platter Institute of Design for finding solutions to big challenges and preparing students for leadership in the complex world.

The University selects outstanding students from reputed universities and institutions across the world. The programme was started five years back and 1,241 students from different parts of the globe have been selected so far. For the sprint of 2018, 258 students have been shortlisted and selected and they include four students from Audisankara, Ms Sanchi Vijitha, III year CSE student, Ms Pediti Deepthi, III year CSE student, Syed Mohammad Junaid Ahmed II ECE and Sunsetty Hari Kishan, a II ECE student.

College management said that students have taken great efforts to bag the opportunity. The objective of the programme is to empower students around the world to become agents of change in higher education. It has constituted a community of students and led a movement to ensure that all students gain needed attitudes, skills, abilities, aptitudes and knowledge required to take on complex challenges in today’s world.
