10th Season of 'One World Fusion': Celebrating Independence Through Music
HYDERABAD: To mark Independence Day on Tuesday, Sangitanjaly Foundation said it wold be organising the tenth season of 'One World Fusion' programme, a fusion of Indian and Western music. The programme organised with the tourism department will be held at Ravindra Bharathi on Monday at 7 pm.
The event will feature artists such as playback singer Sanjeevani Bhilande (‘Chori chori jab nazre’), Anuradha Pal on the tabla, saxophonist Shyamraaj, guitarists Pinkoo Joseph, (lead), Sujay Dey (bass), John Hunt on the drums and U. Khan on the keyboard, sitar player Sarang Vachalekar and keyboard player and arranger Chetan Upadhayay.
The programme is based on the lines of Coke Studio and has been promoting Indian art and dance forms including folk, light music, fusion, sufi and more.
