Samsung foldable phones launched

HYDERABAD:  Samsung’s fifth-generation Galaxy foldable mobile phones were launched on Saturday and can be pre-booked at the Bajaj Electronics showroom at Nexus Mall in Kukatpally, according to a statement from the retail chain.

Actress Ashu Reddy launched the fifth generation of Galaxy foldable — Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 —at the showroom.

The statement said Galaxy Z Flip5 came with a new Flex Window that is best suited for content creation, while Galaxy Z Fold5 took seamless multitasking to an all-new level

Customers pre-booking and buying the devices between August 17 will get offers up to ₹20,000 on Z Flip5 and ₹23,000 on Z Fold5, the statement said.

“Samsung is leading the mobile industry with innovations that set new standards of refinement and experience, thanks to our world-class R&D and manufacturing capabilities. Our fifth generation of foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 – will see higher adoption from tech-savvy consumers in India,” said J.B. Park, President, and CEO, of Samsung SWA, according to the statement.

Both Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 are equipped with IPX8 support, aircraft-grade Armor Aluminum frames, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 applied to both the Flex Window and back cover. Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 come with a new integrated hinge module that features a dual rail structure for diffusing external impacts.
