GMR aviation, APTECH INK PACT to hone talent

 NEW DELHI: GMR Aviation Academy, the training and education arm of GMR Airports Ltd, on Monday announced a strategic alliance with Aptech Aviation Academy to empower aspiring aviation students with industry-relevant skill sets and training. The pioneering programme, ‘Professional in Airport Management & Customer Service’ (PAMCS) will prepare undergraduate students for careers in airport management and customer service.

This employment-driven programme would create employment opportunities for undergraduates in various related fields. PAMCS will provide handson and in-depth training in all aspects of airport management and customer service right from grooming to operations. Ashwani Lohani, CEO of GMR Services Business, said, “Aviation sector has emerged as an employment generating sector. There is a huge demand for industry-ready candidates. The new courses will make students industry-ready.”
